Dino Seatbelt Cover

 

 

A Ferrari Dino enthusiast owner approached blupointscan inquiring if we could scan a seatbelt buckle top cover. The driver side receiver top cover was broken into several pieces and very brittle. Since the part is no longer available from Ferrari, the only choice was to manufacture a replacement part.

 

We reassembled the broken pieces, scanned the part and reverse engineered the scan data to surface data. The part was then 3D printed, painted with a textured paint to replicate the original and installed in the Dino as a perfect match to the passenger side original.
